【摘要】:Uraniumhexafluorideisabasicmaterialusedtopreparenuclearreactorfuel.Tobesuitableforthispurpose,thematerialmustmeetthecriteriaforisotopiccomposition.ThistestmethodisdesignedtodeterminewhetherthematerialmeetstherequirementsdescribedinSpecificationsC787andC996.ASTMCommitteeC-26SafeguardsStatement:5.2.1Thematerial(uraniumhexafluoride)towhichthistestmethodappliesissubjecttothenuclearsafeguardsregulationsgoverningitspossessionanduse.Theanalyticalprocedureinthistestmethodhasbeendesignatedastechnicallyacceptableforgeneratingsafeguardsaccountabilitydata.5.2.2Whenusedinconjunctionwithappropriatecertifiedreferencematerials(CRMs),thisprocedurecandemonstratetraceabilitytothenationalmeasurementbase.However,adherencetothisproceduredoesnotautomaticallyguaranteeregulatoryacceptanceoftheregulatorysafeguardsmeasurements.Itremainsthesoleresponsibilityoftheuserofthistestmethodtoensurethatitsapplicationtosafeguardshastheapprovaloftheproperregulatoryauthorities.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheisotopicanalysisofuraniumhexafluoride(UF6)andmaybeusedfortheentirerangeof235Uisotopiccompositionsforwhichstandardsareavailable.1.2ThistestmethodisapplicabletothedeterminationoftheisotopicrelationshipbetweentwoUF6samples.Iftheabundanceofaspecificisotopeofonesample(thestandard)isknown,itsabundanceintheothercanbedetermined.Thistestmethodisflexibleinthatthenumberoftimesagivenmaterialisadmittedtotheionsourcemaybeadjustedtotheminimumrequiredforaspecifiedprecisionlevel.1.3Thesensitivitywithwhichdifferencesbetweentwomaterialscanbedetecteddependsonthemeasuringsystemused,butratio-measuringdevicescangenerallyreadratio-of-molratiodifferencesassmallas0.0001.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardsstatementsaregiveninSection7.

【摘要】:ThisguidewillaidthepurchaseringeneratingaCTsystemspecification.Thisguidecoverstheconversionofpurchaserrsquo;requirementstosystemcomponentsthatmustoccurforausefulCTsystemspecificationtobeprepared.Additionalinformationcanbegainedindiscussionswithpotentialsuppliersorwithindependentconsultants.Thisguideisapplicabletopurchasersseekingscanservices.ThisguideisapplicabletopurchasersneedingtoprocureaCTsystemforaspecificexaminationapplication.1.1Thisguidecoversguidelinesfortranslatingapplicationrequirementsintocomputedtomography(CT)systemrequirements/specificationsandestablishesacommonterminologytoguidebothpurchaserandsupplierintheCTsystemselectionprocess.ThisguideisapplicabletothepurchaserofbothCTsystemsandscanservices.Computedtomographysystemsarecomplexinstruments,consistingofmanycomponentsthatmustcorrectlyinteractinordertoyieldimagesthatrepeatedlyreproducesatisfactoryexaminationresults.Computedtomographysystempurchasersaregenerallyconcernedwithapplicationrequirements.Computedtomographysystemsuppliersaregenerallyconcernedwiththesystemcomponentselectiontomeetthepurchaser''sperformancerequirements.Thisguideisnotintendedtobelimitingorrestrictive,butrathertoaddresstherelationshipsbetweenapplicationrequirementsandperformancespecificationsthatmustbeunderstoodandconsideredforproperCTsystemselection.1.2Computedtomography(CT)maybeusedfornewapplicationsorinplaceoffilmradiography,providedthatthecapabilitytodisclosephysicalfeaturesorindicationsthatformtheacceptance/rejectioncriteriaisfullydocumentedandavailableforreview.1.3Computedtomography(CT)systemsuseasetoftransmissionmeasurementsmadealongasetofpathsprojectedthroughtheobjectfrommanydifferentdirections.Eachofthetransmissionmeasurementswithintheseviewsisdigitizedandstoredinacomputer,wheretheyaresubsequentlyconditioned(forexample,normalizedandcorrected)andreconstructedbyoneofavarietyoftechniques.Anin-depthtreatmentofCTprinciplesisgiveninGuideE1441.1.4Computedtomography(CT),aswithconventionalradiographyandradioscopicexaminations,isbroadlyapplicabletoanymaterialorobjectthroughwhichabeamofpenetratingradiationmaybepassedanddetected,includingmetals,plastics,ceramics,metallic/nonmetalliccompositematerialandassemblies.TheprincipaladvantageofCTisthatitprovidesdensitometric(thatis,radiologicaldensityandgeometry)imagesofthincrosssectionsthroughanobject.Becauseoftheabsenceofstructuralsuperposition,imagesaremucheasiertointerpretthanconventionalradiologicalimages.ThenewpurchasercanquicklylearntoreadCTdatabecauseimagescorrespondmorecloselytothewaythehumanmindvisualizes3-Dstructuresthanconventionalprojectionradiology.Further,becauseCTimagesaredigital,theimagesmaybeenhanced,analyzed,compressed,archived,inputasdataintoperformancecalculations,comparedwithdigitaldatafromothernondestructiveevaluationmodalities,ortransmittedtootherlocationsforremoteviewing.Whilemanyofthedetailsaregenericinnature,thisguideimplicitlyassumestheuseofpenetratingradiation,specificallyXraysandgammarays.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
