【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodfortheevaluationofthebiodegradability("ultimate"or"primary")oforganiccompounds.TheconditionsdescribedinthisInternationalStandardaremuchmorefavorableforbiodegradationthanthosespec-ifiedinthemethodsforbiodegradabilitydescribedinISO7827,ISO9408andISO9439.Themethodappliestoorganiccompoundswhicharea)solubleattheconcentrationusedunderthetestconditions;b)non-volatile,orwhichhaveanegligiblevapourpressureunderthetestconditions;c)notlostbyfoamingfromthetestsolution;d)notsignificantlyadsorbableonglassandacti-vatedsludge;e)notinhibitorytothetestmicro-organismsattheconcentrationchosenforthetest.Inhibitoryef-fectscanbedeterminedbyusingasuitabletestmethod(e.g.seeISO8192).Ifthetestcompoundistoxic,thetestconcentrationhastobelowerorapre-exposedinoculumcanbeused.NOTE1Additionally,oralternatively,thesemi-continuousactivatedsludge(SCAS)unitsmaybeusedtoprovidesludgeexposedtothetestcompound,inordertoseewhetherthesludgebecomesadapted,tobeusedasinoculainotherbiodegradationtests.
