【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodforassessingthecorrosionresistanceofmetalsbyanalternateimmersiontestinsaltsolution,withorwithoutappliedstress.Thetestisparticularlysuitableforqualitycontrolduringthemanufactureofmetalsincludingaluminiumalloysandferrousmaterials,andalsoforassessmentpurposesduringalloydevelopment.Dependinguponthechemicalcompositionofthetestsolution,thetestcanbeusedtosimulatethecorrosiveeffectsofmarinesplashzones,de-icingfluidsandacidsaltenvironments.Theterm“metal”asusedinthisInternationalStandardincludesmetallicmaterialswithorwithoutcorrosionprotection.Thealternateimmersiontestappliesto-metalsandtheiralloys,-certainmetalliccoatings(anodicandcathodicwithrespecttothesubstrate),-certainconversioncoatings,-certainanodicoxidecoating,and-organiccoatingsonmetals.ThisInternationalStandardisnotapplicabletostainlesssteel.
