【摘要】:Part1ofthisreportincludespaperPVP2006-ICPVT11-94010,"ComparisonofPressureVesselCodesASMESectionVIIIandEN13445."Thispaperconsistsofacomparativestudyoftheprimarytechnical,commercial,andusagedifferencesbetweentheAmericanSocietyofMechanicalEngineers(ASME)BoilerandPressureVesselCodeSectionVIIIandtheEuropeanPressureVesselCodeEN13445(EN).Thisstudyincludesareviewof"ComparativeStudyonPressureEquipmentStandards"publishedbytheEuropeanCommission(EC)andprovidestechnicalcomparisonsbetweenthecodedesignrequirements,materialproperties,fabrication,andcontributingeffectsonoverallcost.Thisstudyisintendedtoprovideabroadviewpointonthemajordifferencesandfactorstoconsiderwhenchoosingthemostappropriatevesseldesigncodetouse.PartIIofthisreportincludespaperPVP2006-ICPVT11-93059,"DesignFatigueLifeComparisonofASMESectionVIIIandEN13445VesselswithWeldedJoints."The"ComparativeStudyonPressureEquipmentStandards"performedbytheECincludedacomparisonofdesignfatiguelifeofweldedvesselsallowedbytheASMEBoilerandPressureVesselCode(B&PVC)SectionVIIIwiththatoftheEuropeanStandardEN13445.TheallowablenumbercyclesoftheASMECodewasreportedtobemuchlargerthanthatofEN13445,and,therefore,theASMECodewasregardedasunconservativeforweldedregions.Thispaperinvestigatesthereasonforthereporteddiscrepancybetweenthetwodesigncodes,identifieserrorsintheECcalculation,recalculatestheallowablecyclesaccordingtoASMECoderulesandconcludedthattheyarecomparablewiththoseofEN13445.
