【摘要】:Thisrecommendedpracticeappliestothoselocationswhereflammablegasesorvapors,flammableliquids,orcombustibleliquidsareprocessedorhandled;andwheretheirreleaseintotheatmospherecouldresultintheirignitionbyelectricalsystemsorequipment.Thisrecommendedpracticeprovidesinformationonspecificflammablegasesandvapors,flammableliquids,andcombustibleliquids,whoserelevantcombustionpropertieshavebeensufficientlyidentifiedtoallowtheirclassificationintothegroupsestablishedbyNFPA70,NationalElectricalCoder(NECr),forproperselectionofelectricalequipmentinhazardous(classified)locations.Thetablesofselectedcombustiblematerialscontainedinthisdocumentarenotintendedtobeall-inclusive.Thisrecommendedpracticeappliestochemicalprocessareas.Asusedinthisdocument,achemicalprocessareacouldbealarge,integratedchemicalprocessplantoritcouldbeapartofsuchaplant.Itcouldbeapartofamanufacturingfacilitywhereflammablegasesorvapors,flammableliquids,orcombustibleliquidsareproducedorusedinchemicalreactions,orarehandledorusedincertainunitoperationssuchasmixing,filtration,coating,spraying,anddistillation.Thisrecommendedpracticedoesnotapplytosituationsthatcouldinvolvecatastrophicfailureoforcatastrophicdischargefromprocessvessels,pipelines,tanks,orsystems.Thisrecommendedpracticedoesnotapplytooxygen-enrichedatmospheresorpyrophoricmaterials.
